Since I have started a growth record, or rather a blog, I would like to write a monthly summary article.
Whether or not I will be able to continue depends on my mood.
Number of days the painting was touched: 20 days
The number of days I was able to touch my illustrations in January 2025 was 20.
This is not something I keep a diary or mark on my calendar, but rather, as I wrote in a recent article, I draw as a warm-up for my illustrations, so I just count the number of drawings.
I regret that it was a month in which I was a bit lost in some areas and did not grow much in terms of drawing.
For a person who had the flu, the 20th was a very personal day.
The New Year’s holiday was quite significant, but I think it was also influenced to some extent by the fact that I started a blog and drew chibi characters.
When I am working at a company, I have to sleep or go out for a drink when I get home, so there are days when I can’t do anything but draw. I think it is better to look back at the log and say that I was able to experience a lot of drawing than to force myself to keep drawing every day.
Completed illustration
Although they are tiny characters, I’ll count them as finished because they are finished.
I try to upload completed illustrations to Pixiv, so I will generally include a screencap or a size-adjusted version in the article.
Number of times I went out drinking
I think it was about four times.
Progress toward goals set at the beginning of the year
At the beginning of the year, we set three goals.
- Reduce the time to complete one illustration
- Aim for 1,000 followers of Bluesky
- Aim for triple-digit number of likes
About Time Reduction
For now, I would like to focus on reducing the time required to complete an illustration, which I should be able to manage through my own efforts alone.
I think that I can use some strategies to get followers and likes, so I feel that I need to improve my groundwork anyway.
In January, I was a bit unable to take concrete action toward my goals, and in the end, I have only been able to draw three chibi characters.
I would have to say that the rate of progress is very poor.
I was supposed to ask for another correction in January, but as of the 31st I was unable to finish it, and probably not even today, February 1st. I expect to be able to submit it tomorrow, but it is extremely painful that I could not meet the deadline.
Below are some of the illustrations to be submitted (in progress).
I will summarize the details in the correction article, but I wanted to draw a face, a face.
By the way, I am a novice in Evangelion. I am less than a beginner.

I was looking at it while drawing the article and I feel something wrong with the left eye: ……
I also felt that the neck was too long when I submitted the article to Bluesky yesterday, so I’ll fix it later.
Bluesky Follower Status

I’ll post a screencast of this one every month.
By the way, some of our followers usually include foreign accounts that we don’t know well. …… We check regularly and exclude accounts that are obviously spammy.
Conclusion
I think this is a rough summary of what we have done as a summary structure.
Let’s keep up the good work in February.
